Halal Marker is a community-powered app that helps you find mosques near you and view prayer times (including iqamah) and amenities (e.g. women's section, wudhu facilities). Users may contribute and verify information. We strive to keep information accurate but do not guarantee correctness of any user-contributed data.

2. Your use of the service

You may use Halal Marker for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these terms. You are responsible for your own conduct and for any content you submit (e.g. mosque details, prayer times). You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or illegal content
• Impersonate others or misuse the contribution system
• Attempt to disrupt or compromise the service or its data
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws

3. Contributions and content

When you add or edit mosque information, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and store that content in connection with Halal Marker. You represent that you have the right to contribute such content and that it does not infringe others' rights. We may remove or correct content that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to the community.

4. Disclaimers

Halal Marker is provided "as is." Prayer times and mosque information are community-sourced and may be incomplete or incorrect. Always verify critical information (e.g. prayer times) with the mosque when it matters. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on information found on the service.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Halal Marker and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on its content. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us (if any) in the twelve months prior to the claim.

6. Changes to the service and terms

We may change the service or these terms at any time. We will post updated terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Halal Marker after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Halal Marker if we believe you have violated these terms. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive termination.
